The Chesapeake Queen was formerly the Elizabeth River Ferry which carried passengers from Portsmouth to Norfolk: the oldest continuously operating ferry route in the U.S. The Chesapeake Queen has now been restored and designed to carry passengers on near shore cruises. Her unique design, a double-decker paddle-wheel vessel still evokes the historic design.
Scenic Cruises on the Chesapeake Bay
Join us on The Chesapeake Queen for a near-shore tour on the breathtaking Chesapeake Bay! Daily cruises begin in May 2026 with special events being offered beginning in February 2026. Our regular tours include more than a dozen family-friendly tours ranging from 1.5 hours to 2.5 hours. We will also offer three adult-only tours per week, all of which are 2.5-hour cruises. The ship will also be available for private charters, just reach out to book.
